Thank you for choosing Kaadamb. We take immense pride in our craftsmanship and textile integrity. Because our products are handcrafted, slow-made and often involve delicate handloom processes, we invite you to read our policy regarding returns and refunds carefully.
1. Order Cancellation Rights

Standard Orders: You are entitled to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not yet been dispatched.

Custom/Personalized Orders: Orders for customized garments, bespoke sizes, or personalized hand-painted items cannot be canceled once production has begun.

2. Conditions for Returns & Exchanges
In accordance with Indian E-commerce regulations, we accept returns only if the goods meet the following criteria:

Reporting Window: Any damage or "not as described" issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos/videos.

Return Window: The goods must be shipped back to us within 7 days of delivery.

Condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed and in their original packaging with all tags intact.
Non-Returnable Items:

Personalized Goods: Items made to your specific measurements or clearly personalized (e.g., custom Mithila painting).

Hygiene-Sensitive Goods: Accessories or garments that are not suitable for return due to hygiene reasons once unsealed.

Upcycled/Mended Items: Services provided under our upcycling initiatives are service-based and non-refundable.

Sale Items: Goods purchased during a clearance or final sale.
3. The Return Process

Shipping Costs: You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. We recommend using a trackable and insured mail service.

Proof of Delivery: We cannot issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or valid proof of received return delivery.

4. Refunds & Reimbursements
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved Refunds: We will reimburse you no later than 7–10 business days from the day we receive the returned Goods.

Mode of Payment: Refunds will be processed via the original payment method. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.
5. Handloom Disclaimer (Important for Kaadamb)
At Kaadamb, we celebrate the "imperfections" of the human hand. Minor variations in weave, color or print (typical of Jamdani, Bandhani, or Mithila) are not considered defects but are marks of authentic artisanal craft. We encourage our patrons to embrace these traces of human connection.
